Homemade Vegetable Stock
Veggies + water = veggie broth! Goodbye powdered veggies. It's so easy to make vegetable stock at home. For this article, we used complete vegetables, but this recipe is also possible with only organic trash – peels of potatoes, carrots, onions and so on. Just store them in a reclosable bag in your fridge until you have about 2-3 handfuls of it and start preparing a tasty broth out of it. Freeze veggie broth in ice cubs in ordner to be able to use them any time in the future.
Homemade Vegetable Stock

Ingredients
- 2 carrots
- 2 onions
- 2 celery
- 4 mushrooms
- 3 potatoes
- 3 sprigs thyme
- 3 sprigs rosemary
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp salt
Instructions
- Wash veggies and cut them in small pieces. You don’t have to peel them.
- Place all veggies in a large pot, add herbs and salt and fill up with water until everything is covered.
- Bring to boil and keep simmering for at least 30 minutes.
- Afterwards you can pour off your fresh, tasty broth and store in a jar or freeze it in ice cubs.
