Vegan Choco Crossies
I inherited the love for Choco Crossies from my mother. We often had wine gums, Toffifee, and Choco Crossies at home, when I was a kid. After 20 years, I learned that Choco Crossies are super simple to prepare. Our vegan version can definitely keep up with the original recipe - approved by my mother and me.
Vegan Choco Crossies

30 minutes (+ 60 minutes waiting time)
Ingredients
- 100 g (3.5 oz) cornflakes
- 200 g (7 oz) vegan „milk“ chocolate
- 20 g (0.7 oz) almond slivers
- 1 tsp coconut oil
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave or a bain-marie. Add 1 tsp coconut oil and combine.
- Place cornflakes in a plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin. Using a fork and a bowl is the second option.
- Mix in a bowl the cornflakes, melted chocolate, and almond slivers until everything is covered in chocolate.
- Take one spoonful of the mixture and place on a baking sheet.
- Let cool for one or two hours.
