Grilled fruits with cereal crumble
What happens if you eat cake, ice cream, and fruit salad at once? Either you explode, or you eat one dessert that combines each of it on a single plate: Grilled fruits with crumble and vanilla ice cream. Oh yes!
The recipe is quick and easy, without any preparations and especially without an oven. To make the crumble you need just a few minutes, and the fruits are almost ready to go. This recipe is perfect if you're looking for a quick and refreshing dessert for BBQ.

Grilled fruits with cereal crumble
Ingredients
- 2 nectarines
- 1/2 pineapple (4 slices)
- 1/8 watermelon (4 slices)
- 4 scoops vegan vanilla ice cream
cereal crumble
- 100 g (3.5 oz) cereal (e. g. “Knusperflockenmüsli“ with dark chocolate and chia)
- 75 g (1/2 cup) wheat flour
- 50 g (1/4 cup) white sugar
- 50 g (1/4 cup) vegan butter (softened)
Instructions
- Rinse, halve and stone the nectarines. Slice watermelon and pineapple.
- In a small bowl, mix flour, sugar and softened vegan butter until crumbly. Add the cereal and and mix again.
- Light up the grill. Let the fruits grill for 3-5 minutes on each side until slightly browned.
- Remove fruits from the grill, and top with cereal crumble and vegan vanilla ice cream. Enjoy immediately!
